CLONE OR SEED?

The breeding of Australian cedar, established a watershed in this cultivar – “before and after the clones.” This is mainly due to the tree’s great potential for diametric and volumetric growth, its superior form, and resistance to pests and diseases common to the species. While the productivity of commercially available material in the market is around 12m3/ha/year, Bela Vista Forestry’s clones have shown average annual increase between 25m3 and 37m3 per hectare.
